How big are West Ham?

We know how we see ourselves and are percieved in the UK but I am more thinking abroad.
Of course players want to come to us for higher wages and what the Premier League can offer, but who do we compare against in terms of size in other countries.
For instance Lazio, are we bigger than them and others of comparable size and history etc?

We are more valuable than most clubs that are in the champions league by dint of being in the premier league, but we wont be considered bigger until we are regularly playing in Europe, which is hard because there are so many premier league teams richer than us.

Fact is we are officially around the 15th richest club in Europe and in the top 10 highest attendances in Europe.
That should make us a big club or at least heading that way.
Obviously Sullivan is a clueless cunt though, so Crystal Palace are our peers.

We are perceived as a big club and are well known but years of underachieving have confused the foreign view. A club with a special history and phenomenal fanbase but have won fuck all. And it's all down to bad owners. From tight Terry Brown, the mad icelandics and the current cock bros.

We are one of the "big 4" London clubs in the Premier League
We suddenly have 56,000 fans when we used to have around 34,000
If I was comparing to a Spanish Team regarding honours and trophys then I would say a Deportivo, Espanyol or Zaragoza.

Domestic perception means more to me than worldwide, but where do we sit domestically when you consider Leeds, Villa, Everton, Newcastle, Sheffield Wednesday?
What're the criteria for being 'big'? Domestic support would be my indicator and not just those who turn up to the London when we're playing the fashionable sides and rivals.
